Altrincham

Altrincham has seen difficult years. Once marked by vacant units, shuttered shops, and the sense of having fallen behind, the town long felt like a place living in Manchester’s shadow. Out of that decline, however, new energy has emerged. Independent shops, cafes, markets, restaurants, and a lively street scene have turned Altrincham into one of the most interesting and stylish places in Greater Manchester.
